Sherlock Season 4: Darker and Extremer Than Before

The fourth season of Sherlock will be launched on New Year’s Day in 2017, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Holmes and Martin Freeman’s Dr John Watson will return to the big screen again. In addition, Benedict also revealed that the fourth season will be darker and extremer compared to the first three seasons.

Benedict Cumberbatch said he tries not to be affected by online speculation and conspiracy by fandom, as he is a man susceptible to what he says and hears. He also admitted that he loves to take part in the discussions with fans, and he try to stay clear at the same time, because it can make him to play a unique role.

Since Sherlock is popular among the world, there is no doubt that a lot of websites and fandom are interested in analyzing the plot, speculating what will happen next episode and predicting the finale. But Benedict said that he didn’t think it deeply, he said he has to trust his directors, writers and partners, and believe that they will do their job to the best to make a perfect plot and bring the viewer a new experience. Luckily, he heard some discussion and thought it helped him a lot. I believe that he will play better in the fourth season.

The creator of Sherlock - Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat have finished the plot of the opening episode, and it will be darker and extremer than the first there seasons. It will change the relationships viewers are familiar with and redefine the characters in an unexpected situation. Like he said, “It starts off a smile and gets dark as oil”, I bet that it will greatly arouse viewers’ interest.

When comes to the outcome of Sherlock, Benedict said he was recently misunderstood by some media because they said that he implied that the fourth season would be the finale. "You have to see these three stories to understand what I originally said, which was that it feels like something comes to a head in this series. That's not just false advertising. As we have always said, we never say never. Enjoy what's coming now, rather than what may or may not be coming in the future." Perhaps we have to wait for several years till the finale of the series, but that’s not a good news to viewers, as we can experience more exciting plot.

Planet Earth II - The Best Nature Documentary You’ve Ever Seen

The documentary Planet Earth of BBC, was a sensation in 2006. Now, 10 years later, Planet Earth II, the sequel, came back again in November, 2016. It gained wide public attention when it premiered, the first episode gained 12.26 million viewers, the highest viewing figures for a nature documentary.

When you first watch it, I’m surely you will be attracted by its vivid and super-clear frames. You can see a lizard dancing in the extremely hot desert, which is so funny, but it’s aimed to reduce the contact with the ground. If you are lucky enough, maybe you will see an enormous grizzly bear wriggles his back against a tree, as if caught in an embarrassing dance. Perhaps you will see a lemur leaps from tree to tree in a dense forest, and the camera follows the animal along with every bound. This is planet Earth II, with many interesting scenes you have never seen before from movie or TV, maybe it’s the most splendid documentary you’ve ever seen, a blockbuster nature series the BBC has ever made.

Like season one, the Planet Earth II also walks in the frontier of technology, it uses ultra-high-definition, namely 4K, to shoot its videos. The photographing process took them 3 years, they went through about 40 countries, photographed about 117 times, with their effort, these spectacular videos eventually present in front of us. They once spent about five months, day and night, to film swamp lions hunting for buffalo. Usually when they filmed in the swamps, they were all barefoot, sometimes there were deadly crocodile under their feet. When they were photographing the penguins in Antarctic, it spent them about 7 days to come to destination by a small yacht, then 2 weeks to film. There is no doubt that the crew risk their lives to finish this photography.

Almost everyone who watches Planet Earth II will be impressed by its grand soundtrack, it’s finished by Hans Zimmer, the famous songwriter, also the music producer of this documentary. If you are not familiar with him, but you must know the ending song of Pirates of the Caribbean, which is also come from the hand of this master.

Another attracting portion of this great documentary is the narration of David Attenborough. This 90-year-old man is the father of the world nature documentaries. During his life, he narrates in many famous documentary like The Blue Planet, The Living Planet, and The Trials Of Life etc. You may not know him very well, but you must have seen the documentary he narrates. Although grandpa Attenborough's explanation is not kind of voice that let your ears pregnant, but it can make you remember the past time when you are a child, obsessed with time listening to grandpa telling a story.
